Our commitment to the school

The role of the Local Governing Body is a strategic one.  Its key functions are to:

  • - monitor and evaluate the progress the school is making towards the achievement of its aims and objectives, in line with statutory duties
  • - monitor the quality of education and impact of key educational strategies
  • - be a source of challenge and support to the Head Teacher

The Head Teacher is responsible for the day-to-day operation, organisation, management and control of the school.

Getting in contact with a Governor

The Governing Body aims to be open and approachable.  If you have any questions relating to the school from a strategic perspective please email info@blenheim.lihtrust.uk or leave a message at the school reception with your question and a governor or the governance professional will come back to you. If you would like to raise a worry or concern, please speak to the relevant member of staff or refer to the school's Complaints Procedure, which can be found under the policies section of the website.
