Blenheim Early Years
Intro
Blenheim Early Years Centre operates as part of Blenheim Primary Schools Extended Services, offering full day care for children aged 12 weeks to 4 years, 48 weeks a year from 7am - 6pm (excluding bank holidays).
About Our Setting
The aim of our setting is to promote a secure and caring environment in which children can grow and learn whilst having fun exploring the many activities offered.
We encourage independence and resilience through the early year’s curriculum and promote respect for each other supporting the ASPIRE values promoted by Blenheim Primary School. Children’s well-being and development are monitored through the nursery key worker system.
Our staff are highly qualified, including early years degree qualified room and nursery management lead practitioners.
The nursery has its own dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities lead who, working with other professionals, supports all children based on their individual health and learning needs.

Home visits are carried out by the nursery staff to get to know the children and their parents/carers prior to them starting, this helps familiarise the children with our staff and offers the parents the chance to ask any questions they may have.
Free settling sessions are also offered prior to children starting with parents/carers remaining on site to support the child's transition.
Your Child’s Learning
The nursery supports the Wellcom speech and language programme.
Preschool and baby/toddler reports are generated in Autumn and Spring and shared with parents with the opportunity for parents to come into the nursery and meet with key persons.
Two-year reports are completed collaboratively with nursery parents.
