Southend Netball Festival 2019

Huge congratulations to the Year 5 and 6 Girls Netball team who competed in the Southend Netball Festival on Wednesday 6th March.

After a tricky start, the girls pulled together and came back fighting to win 2 games in their pool. They then progress to the ‘Super Tens’, where they drew 2 and won 2 of their games with goals from Amy and Ella. The team then progressed to the Semi Finals, as winners of their pool to play Temple Sutton. The game ended 2 -2 so the game was taken to ‘Golden Goal’ with the other school scoring first.

The girls finished 4th overall out of 20 schools. They should be incredibly proud of this achievement. A huge thank you to Miss Johnston for training and supporting the girls.
